Magic Kingdom- Frontierland

Here is the the second land in the Magic Kingdom, Frontierland.

Attractions

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- The first and least best of the mountain attractions is this. You are getting on a train that will take you around Big Thunder Mountain, a place where people used for gold mining. You board the train as it leaves for a good ol’ tour of the mountain. The unexpected arrives when you hear an old man saying “Hold on to your hats!” and your speed down the mountain. Your train speeds though the mountian going up and down, around sharp turns, into the mines, and where ever else it wants to go. You finally slow down once the train enters a cavern, which only shows you that you’re going to the top of the mountain. When you get there, you rocket down to the bottom where the train stops. A good, mild roller coaster with no story whatsoever, makes this a great ride. This is one of my favorites and you need to ride it. 4 1/2 of 5 Stars

Splash Mountain- Here is another mountian attraction, but this is not a roller coaster. You board a log and head down a river to a little town inhabited by animals. The main focus is on Br’er Rabbit, who is leaving in search of someplace new and exciting. Then you meet Br’er Fox and Br’er Bear who are trying to catch the rabbit for a nice meal. Br’er Rabbit escapes them many times while you help him along his journey. You turn a corner and see that Br’er Fox has captured the rabbit, and you start up a dark hill. Once you see sunlight, you realize you’re 90 feet above the ground then you drop at a steep angle and end up soaked wet at the bottom of the mountain. Br’er Rabbit had escaped and returned home. This ride is one of the bests in the park, and deserves attention. You may may get really wet, but I still say ride this attraction. 4 1/2 of 5 Stars

Country Bear Jamboree- This is a show that I don’t care for in the least. You enter an auditorium where you’re about to see a preformance from the country bears. The show starts and a bunch of bears come out looking like hillbillies and singing songs you never heard before. Every bear has it own moment of fame and some moments with the other bears. This show isn’t that great and it lasts a little too long. I say skip this attraction and go hop on a mountian attraction. 1 1/2 of 5 Stars
