I Love You, Man
Well that was funny. I was saying that after I saw the comedy I Love You, Man. The movie is about a guy named Peter who is going to get married. After his fiancee gets together all of her bridesmaids, Peter realizes that he doesn’t really have any friends. His family try to introduce him to guys, but they don’t end well. He just gives up until he is at an open house for a house he is trying to sell, he meets Sydney, a man without a care in the world. Peter and Sydney start to bond and soon they become good friends. They do things such as walk down the beach, rock out, eat tacos, go to a concert, go golfing, get into a fight with Lou Ferrigno, and other guy stuff. But Peter’s fiancee and his family have doubts about Syndey, and soon chaos breaks out right as Peter’s wedding day comes closer and closer. This movie had funny moments and a good bit of laughs from the entire cast. There were a few times when they crossed the content line, and there was plenty of foul language. I think people should wait until DVD for this one, but I also say give it a chance because it is pretty funny. 4 of 5 Stars

Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail
Tyler Perry is back making the movies he’s known for. That was my reaction to the movie Madea Goes to Jail. In this movie, there are actually two different stories going on. The first story is about a big-time lawyer who reunites with his childhood friend. But his friend turns out to be a prostitute and the lawyer’s fiance is not pleased. He tries his hardest to get his friend off the streets and get her life back on track. His friend is arrested and is sent to jail. The other story is about the loud-mouthed, ill-tempted, Madea. Madea is just like she always is, saying and doing whatever comes to her mind. But after Madea wrecks a woman’s sportscar, she is put in the hot seat. And unfortunately, she has to spend some time in jail. At prison, Madea and the prostitute become friends, and Madea goes on to turn the prison upside down. I loved this movie’s supporting cast which included Uncle Joe, Leroy Brown, and even Dr. Phil. This movie had a ton of laughs but also had a serious side like Perry’s other movies. I think everyone who loves Tyler Perry, or Madea, should go see this movie. 4 of 5 Stars
The Pink Panther 2
He still can’t pronounce “hamburger”. That is what I was thinking as I walked out of The Pink Panther 2. I had high hopes for this sequel, but I was let down. The story follows Inspector Clouseau as he embarks on yet another case. When priceless artifacts, including the Pink Panther, are stolen from all across the world by a criminal named the Tornado, Clouseau must team up with three other detectives. A French detective, who is very smart; a Russian detective, who is very observant, and a Chinese detective, who is good with technology; plus a woman who has ties to the Tornado. The detectives work vigorously to solve the case while Clouseau tries but fails and usually injures himself. During the whole movie, Clouseau is trying his hardest to win over the love of his assistant Nicole. In the end, everything turns out good for Clouseau. I loved the first Pink Panther movie, but when I saw this, I lost faith in the series. The cast was good, but the movie wasn’t as funny as it should have been. I recommend this to only those who just love the first movie. 3.5 of 5 Stars

Paul Blart: Mall Cop
Wow, Kevin James is a really funny guy. I was glad to see that after I saw his new movie, Paul Blart: Mall Cop. The movie is about Paul Blart, who is a mall cop, and a very bad one at that. He is down on his luck and thinks that nothing good can happen to him. Then, on Black Friday, a gang takes over the mall and takes hostages, one being Paul’s love interest. He decides that instead of leaving, that he will try to take down the bad guys himself. Blart, being an expert of the mall, goes on a mission to stop the gang one by one. He crawls through a vent, falls off the roof, eats, gets a tan, blows up the Rainforest Cafe, and rides his segway like there was no tomorrow. When his beloved daughter is caught up in the chaos, he stops being the nice guy and trys to take back his mall by any means nessasary. Kevin James pulls off his first leading role greatly and has plenty of laughs. The movie was really funny and greatly put together. I think this movie is hilarious and is one to stop and see. 4 of 5 Stars
Marley & Me
World’s worst dog creates world’s saddest movie. That was my reaction to the movie, Marley & Me. This movie follows John, a mna who decides to adopt a dog, Marley, for his wife. But he soon finds out that the dog is actually one of the worst dogs ever. After destroying everything in their house and even getting kicked out of obedience school, Marley is labeled as untrainable and the couple decide to just deal with him. The movie continues to show all the outrageous things Marley does as his family grows to include three kids, moving houses, and all the other crazy things in life. The dog never learns how to behave, but the family continues to live with him. And of course, at the end, something happens that brings the family together and reflect how much Marley had influenced their lives. This movie had a good share of laughs and a few sad moments. Owen and Anniston did great jobs acting and the movie turned out to be great. I suggest going to see this movie to everyone who just needs to see a really good movie. 4.5 of 5 Stars
Bedtime Stories
I wish I could say something and make it come to life. That was my wish after seeing the new Adam Sandler movie Bedtime Stories. The movie was about Skeeter, a hotel handyman who has to look after his niece and nephew. At first he is reluctant , but then decides why not. The first night he tells them a bedtime story and the next day it magically comes to life. He discovers that he can make his life so much better with the stories, but soon, the stories backfire and turns his life into chaos. The stories include him as a peasant, a cowboy, a gladiator, and a spaceman. The stories also help him realize some important things in life and he sets out to do things right. The supporting cast in this movie was great, including Russel Brand, Keri Russel, Guy Pearce, Rob Schneider, and a cameo by Buzz Lightyear. This movie was pretty good and Adam Sandler did well his first time on a family movie. I really liked this movie and I would recommend it to anybody who wants to laugh. 4 of 5 Stars
