This is the first park in the new series of posts I’m doing about theme parks. This one is my favorite theme park of all-time, Universal Studios Florida. This park makes up half of the Universal Orlando resort. This park opened in 1990 and was based on the movies made by Universal Studios. It was the second Universal theme park after Universal Hollywood. The park started out slowly and didn’t hve many rides. That was until Universal Studios changed to Universal Orlando and the park became huge. The park features two roller coasters, two 3-D shows, 5 dark rides, 4 live shows, and more. My favorite ride in the park is Revenge of the Mummy( that’s because I haven’t got to ride The Simpsons yet.) I will give you many details on this park as I go through each themed land telling you about the attractions and many other things in the park. Get ready for great things from Universal Studios Florida, Ride the Movies.

No wonder Heath Ledger got nightmares. After seeing The Dark Knight, I think I may get them too. This was a great movie. It also beat the record and has the highest-grossing opening weekend of all-time. This movie is the sixth in the Batman series, and also the best. This movie follows Batman as he fights one of the coolest supervillains I’ve ever seen, Joker. While the Joker is reking some serious havoc in Gotham, Batman also has to put up with Harvey Dent, a DA who has has a thing with Batman’s longtime friend. Things get even worse as the Joker’s reign of terror continues ruining the lifes of Batman, Harvey, and everyone else in Gotham. This movie was packed with action and had a great cast, including the last preformance of the late Heath Ledger as the Joker. The only thing I didn’t like about this movie is that it left a lot of things unanswered that needed to be answered nad that it was a little too long. Other than that, I loved this movie. I suggest that everybody who reads this should go see The Dark Knight. 4 1/2 of 5 Stars

The biggest box-office opening weekend has a new champion, The Dark Knight. It broke the record with a total of 158 mil. It beat the record set by Spider-Man 3, which made 151 mil. Here are the rest of the box-office results from July 18th- 20th. Last Week’s Winner Guess: The Dark Knight.

I noticed something here on The Great Movie Domain, almost everything is about movies. I know you’re probably saying “well duh”, but I want to start talking about my second favorite passion behind movies, theme parks. I always love going to theme parks, and whenever my  family goes on vacation, I make them take me to a theme park. My favorites are the Universal Studios theme parks and Disney World theme parks. I’ve also been to a few smaller parks that I’ll talk about too. I will discuss different attractions that I love and also other great things about a park.So sit back, relax, buckle your seatbelt, pull down the lap bar, and hang on for my tribute to Theme Parks.

Well,  he’s no Spider-Man, but he’s good enough. That’s what I was thinking while watching the movie Hancock. This movie starred Will Smith as Hancock, a superhero who hates people and is hated by people. When Hancock saves the life of a Public Relations manager, he befriends the drunken superhero to his wife’s dismay. The PR manager then decides to help Hancock by helping his image to be loved and to be a great hero. It includes sending Hancock to jail, a tight suit, angry prisoners, high crime rates,and a dude’s head going up another dude’s butt. Hancock then becomes a better hero until a surprising twist changes the whole movie. I love Will Smith and was hoping this movie would be as good as his others, and it was. This movie had great action scenes, a great cast, and lots and lots of hilarious laughs. The only thing that I didn’t like about this movie was that it was only 90 minutes when I thought it could have been a good bit longer. This movie was really good and I hoping to get the DVD and hoping for a Hancock sequel. I recommend this movie for every Will Smith and superhero fan. 4 1/2 of 5 Stars

Get ready to laugh everybody, because here comes Will Ferrell to the V.I.P. Gold Club. Be careful because this man is funny and also crazy, which is a bad mixture. Just kidding Will. Will was born and grew up in South California. When he was in college, he went into sports boardcasting and wasn’t even thinking about acting. Only after graduating, did he start his career in the comedy business. From 1995 to 2002, Ferrell was the satr on the show, Saturday Night Live. He then started making movies. His first couple of movies only had him in cameos, but then he finally got leading roles. He became one of the funniest actors in Hollywood and even won awards for being funny and also goofy. So, Will I welcome you to the V.I.P. Gold Club and I hope you make your first friend here. Just kidding.
